I attended a quinceanera this weekend for George.

George is a girl [obviously] and a dachshund. 

I needed a quick last minute hostess gift for George's chef/caterer mom. 

I went with a very controversial dachshund sized bouquet of Cilantro.

Hobbies are supposed to make you happy, right?

I haven't arts and crafted much lately because I'm more inspired when I'm busy and jazzed up. Over the years, I've realized that arts and crafts don't help me feel better when I'm bummed out. 

 I will tell you what does.

Writing notes to the important people in my life and reminding them how special they are. 

Sorry, this post is kinda a downer for little 'ol ghostly Halloween cards.

SURF'S UP, BABY

When my beautiful and very cool surfer couple friends Corie and Larry found out they were expecting...

CJ and my screams were so loud that the corgis went crazy and I'm pretty sure car alarms went off outside.

Babies are exciting, brah.

For her shower gift I used an old amazon prime box and constructed a little surfboard.

When CJ saw it she called me an asshole.

I love my friends. 

And love little Miss Waverly Sloane. She already loves the beach and was born with more hair than CJ and I combined. Welcome to the world, Waverly! 

DENIM AND DIAMONDS

The second night of Britt's getting hitched was spent dressed in Denim and Diamonds at a Cowboy bar.

There was a stable at the house we rented.

 My favorite part of the night was when I asked her if she wanted me to size down her cowboy hat and she looked at me intensely and said... I think I want to put my tiara back on. 

This face. "You all are crazy but you're mine" 

A little vest I bedazzled with her Groom's name -o. 

This weekend was such a dream. Such a fun group of girls.

CINCO DE BRIDE- O

Both brides in my life are two of the most beautiful Brittanys out there.

An Ojai Bachelorette for Brittany Ross was in order and the first night [score] fell on Cinco De Mayo.

I spray painted mini maracas rose gold for our pint sized bride and her squad.

Jazzed up a pair for our girl.

I want to walk down the aisle in this bridal sombrero I got from my sombrero guy. 

The nicest woman/chef on the planet made us a Mexican meal - delicioso. 

Seriously SO. MUCH. FUN. 

A BABY SIS BACHELORETTE!

It's been so long since I blogged the documentation of my arts and craft life that Blogger has updated its operating system. I doubt it's called an operating system but since I'm the class of 2000 that's what it is to me.

Now for some backlogged bloggering about... BACHELORETTES!

Back in April... we threw Baby Sis a Bachelorette in Napa.

It was a dream.

Instead of making her my normal MRS headband... I went downtown to my secret spot and went straight up tiara. And tossed that MRS on a sweater. 

But with a bow... because it's Britti!

She was dying for one of those amazing Eugenia Kim hats but because I'm a cheap sister... I made her this poor man's version instead. THATHATIS475.00.
